Emerald City Comic Con has come and gone, and left me pleasantly exhausted. I met lots of folks, gave away a ton of buttons and promo cards, and gave copies of Zombocalypse Now to such geek luminaries as Wil Wheaton (who seemed genuinely excited about the book), Brian Bendis, Joe Quesada, Kate Beaton, David Malki, Scott Kurtz and others. Dawn Marie got to meet Lou Ferigno, who did not get a copy of ZN, and will have to buy his own. She did, however, congratulate him on getting to punch a grizzly bear in the face on our favorite episode on “The Incredible Hulk.”
Special thanks to Comic Book Ink for having the book for sale at the convention, and to Geeks of Doom for extending the book giveaway for a couple of days to give con-goers a chance to enter. Next up: Gamestorm and Norwescon!
